The Chimney Sweep If a Chimney Sweep meets a Bride and Groom at their wedding, it is a very good omen for their future, especially if he wishes them good luck, so why not get your life together of to a good start with a visit from Dave, the Lucky Chimney Sweep!
A genuine working Chimney sweep, he will attend the Church or the Reception in full sweep’s regalia and will appear whilst the song “Chim chimney Chim Chimney” is playing. He will shake hands with the Groom and receive a kiss from the bride then recite a poem and wish the bride & groom good luck for the future. The bride & groom will then be presented with a framed copy of the poem and a miniature sack containing a piece of lucky coal, bread and salt. The guests will be able to take photos of the proceedings which will form treasured memories of this most wonderful occassion.
